Step-by-Step Process to Acquire Medical Certificate

As a first-time student for PPL, you will have to follow the steps below:

  • Obtain a Medical Profile at PCAA to get the Reference number.
  • Airborne Aviation will issue a letter with that Ref No. for the medical certificate proceeding.
  • Visit the Medical Board of PCAA (location) for document submission and getting an initial prescription for the medical tests required for the certificate.
  • Prescribed tests will be done at CMH Lahore only:
    • Urine test
    • ECG
    • ENT
    • Eyesight
    • Blood Pressure
    • Audiometry
  • Submit reports at the CAA Medical Board In-charge for PCAA at International Airport Lahore.
  • A Psychometric Evaluation via personality test and IQ test will be conducted by the Medical In-charge at CMH Lahore.
  • If any further tests are required, they will be prescribed by the medical team.
  • The Medical Board will conclude all the results, and a Medical Certificate will be issued if no additional examinations are required.

Renewal of Medical Licenses

For Private Pilot’s License:

A yearly renewal of the Class II medical certificate is required.

For Commercial Pilot’s License:

A yearly renewal of the Class I medical certificate is required.
