The CPL, or Commercial Pilot License, according to the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA), is a license that permits the holder to act as a pilot of an aircraft and be paid for their work. This license allows pilots to work in roles such as airline co-pilots, charter pilots, or any other position that requires flying for compensation. A CPL is often the next step for individuals aiming to pursue a career in aviation, eventually progressing toward an Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) if they intend to become captains in commercial airlines.
The CPL Integrated Course is a full-time, structured program combining all theoretical and flight training in one continuous session, enabling quicker completion for obtaining a Commercial Pilot License (CPL).
The CPL Modular Course is flexible, allowing students to complete training modules individually and at their own pace, ideal for those with other commitments. Both require meeting PCAA standards and exams for CPL certification.
CPL applicants are required to attend 6 months of ground classes designed to prepare them for successfully passing the theoretical exams administered by the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA).
